Can a mini-split heat as well as cool?+
Yes — mini-splits are heat pumps. One wall unit heats in winter and cools in summer, with efficiency that's hard to beat in LA's mild climate.
Are mini-splits noisy?+
The opposite. Indoor units typically run quieter than a library whisper — many people can't tell they're on. The compressor sits outside, like a central system.
Can one outdoor unit serve several rooms?+
Yes. Multi-zone systems connect one outdoor compressor to two to five indoor heads, each with its own thermostat — great for whole-home zoning without ducts.
How long does a mini-split installation take?+
